A builder, not a middleman.
Emma Groups started on site in 1997 and has stayed there since. We are the main contractor: our own project managers, our own supervision, our own accountability. When you call, the person who answers can walk to the site.
Founded as Emma Contract and Trading, building and renovating landed homes.

Abundance, and a horse.
Yi Ma is how Emma is written in Chinese: 億 for abundance, 馬 for the horse that carries the work. The characters have been on our documents since 1997. The four posts in our mark are the four strokes at the foot of the horse, holding up the roof.
Identity, 1997 to 2026
The mark, redrawn.
The original logo was two Chinese characters in brush calligraphy, 億 above 馬. It carried nearly thirty years of meaning and none of it was legible at the size a website, a letterhead or a site hoarding actually needs. So we kept the meaning and rebuilt the form.
Before
Raster only, vertical, no Latin name, invisible below 32 pixels.
After
Vector, horizontal, name legible, holds at 16 pixels and over photography.
The horse stayed
The four posts holding up the roof are the four strokes at the foot of 馬. The meaning survived the redraw.
The gold became bronze
The same colour, desaturated until it holds contrast on white, on graphite and over photography.
The name became readable
A drawn wordmark means an English reading client or a foreign architect can read the company name from the logo.
The original calligraphy has not been retired. It stays as the heritage mark on the company chop, on Chinese language documents and in the footer of this site.
